Come win your family's Thanksgiving dinner at York Center Park District's fifth annual Turkey Hoops competition. Teams will be made up of parent/child duos that will compete in our free throw contest. Each team member will shoot ten free throws, and the team that makes the most combined shots in their age division wins! The night will end with pizza, pop, and raffle prizes for all.  The DuPage Basketball Alliance is a co-op between the Villa Park Recreation Department, York Center, Butterfield and Oakbrook Terrace Park Districts. You'll practice once a week and play games on Saturdays. Games take place in the Willowbrook High School Fieldhouse and practices are held at various locations within the participating communities. Players must purchase a reversible jersey for $17. Team assignments and schedules will be issued on November 8, team practices begin the week of November 10 and games begin on December 6. Kids will be assigned to teams to create league balance. Coach/friend requests will not be accepted. All players must attend the pre-season skill days. (See following info.) Player evaluation takes place on November 1 and team assignments are issued on November 8. Please indicate the days/times that you are unable to practice. Ages: 7th/8th, 5th/6th, 3rd/4th, & 1st/2nd Dates: Starts Saturday, Nov. 1, Nov.-Feb.
