Dear Single Payer Supporter:

We think you'll agree the Illinois Single payer movement needs to do three things now:
education, education, and more education!

That's why ISPC is launching an effort to have as many Illinois residents as possible view The Health Care Movie.  We think this movie can do more to bring people to our cause than any other activity we can undertake, given limited means.

Produced by Canadian/American couple Laurie Simons and Terry Sterrenberg, The Healthcare Movie reveals the personal and emotional impact on Canadians who now have access to universal health care because of the heroism of people who took a stand nearly 50 years ago. It also reveals the continuing struggle in the United States between the fear of government intervention and the right to quality health care for all people.

In my crusade to educate our local public about the health care situation, I haven't found a better vehicle than this movie.

Want to help?  Here's how:
1)  Host a private or public screening of the Health Care Movie in your home, at your church, group or club, or in any public venue you think might work.  We'll provide a copy of the movie and guidance for showing it.  We'll also do our best to provide a speaker to lead discussion following the movie.  It's fun, educational and relatively easy.

2)  Help the Health Care Movie committee with planning and promotional efforts.

If you can help with this effort in any way, please contact:  Bill Bianchi at: billbispc@gmail.com
