York Center Park District's preschool program has over 30 years of experience educating
young children. These classes are designed to develop classroom and social skills
that will prepare children for kindergarten. Children participate in a variety of
developmentally appropriate activities including stories, music, arts and crafts,
games, free play and computers. These activities coincide with special daily themes
and enhance gross and fine motor development.

children's shows are a great free way to spend a summer afternoon. A variety of
well-known acts will perform. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to our back patio/grass

open at 11:30am. Performances are from 12:00-1:00pm.

After School Recreation
Children who attend participating schools in District 45 (York Center, Stevenson,
Westmore, and Ardmore) and District 44 (Manor Hill) will be picked up by bus and
transported back to York Center Park District each day after school. The After
School Recreation program is a fun place to make friends, play games, create fun
crafts, work as a team, and receive help with homework. Children are provided a
snack each day as well. Each week is given a theme that the activities are planned
around. The list of themes can be found in the ASR packet, which can be picked up
at the front desk in the beginning of August. There is a one-time $25 registration
fee per family.
This program follows the District 45 school schedule.

Flag Football
Come join us as we learn the basics of flag football. The program is a fast-paced,
non-contact game. We follow York Center's Flag Football rules and all participants
will be instructed with an emphasis on safety.

6-10 years

After School Recreation
Children who attend participating schools in District 45 (York Center, Stevenson,
Westmore, and Ardmore) and District 44 (Manor Hill) will be picked up by bus and
transported back to York Center Park District each day after school. The After
School Recreation program is a fun place to make friends, play games, create fun
crafts, work as a team, and receive help with homework. Children are provided a
snack each day as well. Each week is given a theme that the activities are planned
around. The list of themes can be found in the ASR packet, which can be picked up
at the front desk in the beginning of August. There is a one-time $25 registration
fee per family.
This program follows the District 45 school schedule.

seem to know where to go? Cruisin' Connoisseurs will take you to
a different restaurant each month. The fee includes transportation
only, and you get the check!
Mago Grill & Cantina
This celebration of Mexico's heritage is the creation of award-winning Chefs Juan
Luis Gonzalez and Ric Munoz. Its menu is comprised of authentic favorites of freshly
smashed tableside guacamole, seafood ceviches, savory salsas, fresh salads, and
dishes of steak, chicken, pork and seafood. Mago Grill's lunch menu offers taco
renditions, a selection of lunch-friendly Grandma Paula's dishes including Chilaquiles,
fresh salads, and small plate picks. Several Tortas including a Jibarito sandwich
and a Cubanstyle burger, all served with homemade chips. Mago's delectable desserts
include Chocolate Molten cake, Tres Leches cake, Mexican churros and a flight of
fried ice cream, to name a few.
