 Kick off the summer with us! The Blues Buster Summer Camp is an exciting way to make new friends, cool off at the pool, and learn to play new games. Create summertime memories through activities, arts and crafts, sports, special events, swimming, and field trips EVERY Friday. All summer camp staff receives first aid and CPR training. After you register you will receive a summer camp packet. Complete the forms and return it to the park district before your child's first day. Your child will not be able to participate in camp unless the packet is turned in. There is a one-time family registration fee of $25, and if you have other children in Munchkins, Blues Busters or Teen Camp the one-time family registration fee is still $25. Packets are now available and the Summer Kick-off Party is Thursday, June 5 from 6:30-8:00pm. Ages: Boppins: Entering K & 1st Grade (5-6 years old) Juniors: Entering 2nd & 3rd Grade (7-8 years old) Seniors: Entering 4th & 5th Grade (9-10 years old) Dates: Session I: June 16-July 3 (No Camp Friday, July 4) Session II: July 7-25 Session III: July 28-Aug. 15 Time: 7:30am-6:00pm 9:00am-3:00pm Click here to register online! |
 Enjoy a summer of fun with friends at preschool camp. Children participate in a variety of developmentally appropriate activities including stories, music, arts and crafts, games and much more. Blues Busters Munchkins is designed to prepare your child for our Blues Busters Summer Camp. It is also a great way to get your child ready for preschool. Price includes art supplies, snack, t-shirt and instructors. Your child must be 3 years old by June 1, 2013 and they must be toilet trained. A one-time $10 family registration fee is required for those in Munchkins. If you have other children in Blues Buster or Teen Camp the one-time family registration fee is $25. Teens will be going on trips all around the Chicagoland area this summer to places like Great America, Hurricane Harbor, Vertical Endeavors, beaches, water parks, and so much more! You can sign up for our daily rate or an entire session. We offer extended hours to accommodate parent work schedules. Packets are now available.  Children will be taught the basics of t-ball such as catching, hitting, throwing, base running, and teamwork. Participants will learn batting skills by hitting a rag ball off a tee, and by being pitched to by a coach. All children will receive a t-shirt, but must provide their own mitt. The last game of the season will be followed by an awards presentation and picnic. Each parent will supply a team snack once during the season, and a list will be handed out on the first day. We try our best to accommodate roster and team suggestions, but due to the number of children we cannot guarantee all requests. Ages: 6-8 years Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays, June 16-July 23 (6 Weeks) Picnic: Wednesday, July 23 Time: 6:15-7:30pm Fee: $50/resident; $55/non-resident Location: Villa Roosevelt Park Register by: Monday, June 9 Click here to register online! |
