 Each week we will learn the rules of a new sport and skills to play. We will play soccer, basketball, hockey and baseball in a non-competitive atmosphere with an emphasis on safety and fun!  Does your child love to play basketball? Then this is the class for them. In this non-competitive class, we will learn skills that will help us become great basketball players by passing, shooting, and ball handling. We will use age appropriate equipment and learn about team work, and use listening skills.  Is school not in session and you need a place for your child to hang out for the day? Not a problem! Bring them to the York Center Park District for a day of fun and games. Campers must provide their own lunch. All paper work and the camper information packet must be filled out prior to dropping off your child. If the minimum
is not met, the program will be cancelled for the day.

 We will take a walk around the park and collect different types of leaves. Afterwards we will go inside and make a craft with the leaves that we just collected! We may get a little messy so come dressed appropriately!  Come join us as we learn the basics of flag football. The program is fast-paced, non-contact game. We follow York Center's flag football rules and all participants will be instructed with an emphasis on safety.
