| | | | Joe Walsh must apologize for insulting veterans Dear Daniel, Rep. Walsh took time out of his busy schedule of screaming at constituents and avoiding tax collectors to insult his Democratic opponent and all veterans this weekend. Walsh, who never spent a day in uniform, claims because his opponent Tammy Duckworth talks about her service to our country she is not a "true hero."1 Walsh's statements are truly disrespectful and a desperate line of attack, but what comes after is even worse. He refuses to apologize to her or to the veterans he has disrespected.2 Tell Joe Walsh to apologize to our veterans for insulting their service to our country. Click here to automatically sign this petition. We can't let this stand. It's unconscionable that Joe Walsh is attacking a woman who risked everything for our country and paid a very high price for that service. And it's outrageous that an Illinois Congressman would insult the service of our veterans this Independence Day. Tammy Duckworth deserves better, our veterans deserve better, and Illinois' families deserve better. Sign our petition now telling Joe Walsh our veterans deserve his respect. He must apologize immediately.
