The marriage bill just passed in the House Executive Committee -- Tell your Rep to vote YES when it comes to the House floor!

Dear Daniel,

Just a few moments ago, the Illinois House Executive Committee approved Senate Bill 10, a measure that extends the freedom to marry to same-sex couples in Illinois. After this critical vote, the bill now goes to the full House for a vote.

Act NOW: Tell your representative to support the freedom to marry.

We now are one step closer to passing this historic measure and adding Illinois to the roster of states that recognizes that marriage is a loving commitment between two people, and that all couples should be given the freedom to marry.

Keep following us on Facebook and Twitter as we will be giving live updates of activities on the House floor. It is time for Illinois to take this important step. We are very close. Take action now to ensure victory.

Sincerely,

Colleen Connell
