 It's the heart of hockey season and it's time for you and your friends to put on your Blackhawks jersey and head over to the park district for some floor hockey fun. This class will teach you the basic rules of floor hockey, how to properly use the hockey stick to pass and shoot, as well as puck handling. We will spend the last part of each class playing a scrimmage game against friends. This program is designed for fun with an emphasis on safety. Teams will be made each week.  Do you like to build towers, buildings, bridges, and more? Come share your talent with friends. We will award prizes to participants in a variety of categories. You soon will become a Lego Expert! We offer additional care on days when school is closed for holidays and traditional school closing, such as teacher institute days. This program follows similar guidelines as the After School Program, but is offered from 7:30am-6:00pm on days when children do not have school (excluding weekends). We ask that you be prompt at the time of pick-ups, as the program ends at 6:00pm. Campers MUST provide their own lunch and we ask that parents use disposable lunch bags labeled with the child's name. Once again we follow the District 45 calendar and we "fill-in" for most days they do not have school. Note: A minimum of 8 participants is required in order to offer this service.  Sofia the First Join us for these themed lunchtime parties! We will eat lunch, make a craft, and play games. Children are encouraged to bring the appropriate toy for each class. Please make sure each toy has your child's name on it. Sofia the First If you could be a prince or princess what would you love most? Come to this class dressed up in your favorite prince or princess costume as we act like royalty. We will make a crown or tiara craft play some games and have mini sandwiches for our royal lunch.

 Shake, rattle and roll through this active packed class. We will run, jump, and play during this class with a variety of age appropriate equipment. Let your child release some of the built up energy from the winter season in this class. They are sure to leave this class exhausted. Please make sure to wear gym shoes. The York Center Park District gym will be transformed with a variety of hearts! Treat your daughter to a night out on the town. Let your little girl dance the night away, pamper herself in our nail salon, or give her the chance to create her own amazing craft! Light appetizers will be served at the beginning of the night and we will end with an ice cream sundae bar. All guests will get to choose all their toppings to create a delicious ice cream treat. Wear your best dress clothes.
