Nobody who works full time should be forced to raise a family in poverty. I support the nationwide effort to raise the minimum wage for millions of workers.

Dear Daniel,

On Capitol Hill and in statehouses across the country, we're in a fight to raise the wages of millions of workers.

Raising the minimum wage helps working families meet the basics and boosts the economy.

Sign our petition if you believe that nobody who works full time should be forced to raise a family in poverty.

USAction staff were at the White House last week as the President signed the historic executive order to raise the wage of federal contractors to $10.10.

The momentum continued when House Democrats said they would pursue a discharge petition to force a vote in Boehner's do-nothing House of Representatives. And the Senate will vote in early March to raise the minimum wage.

Help us build on the momentum and join the fight for decent wages for all workers. Sign our petition to raise the minimum wage.

Our economy needs to work for working families again and polls show that Americans support raising the wage. A new survey for the AFL-CIO by Hart Research found that by an overwhelming 72-23 margin, voters in key swing states are asserting that raising wages is “good for the state.”

Raising the minimum wage is common sense. Let's get it done. Sign on here.

Onward,

Ross Wallen
