Ballroom Dance
Beginner Level
Focusing on the Foxtrot, Waltz and Swing this class will teach you the basic lead/follow
techniques that apply to all dance types. You will learn how to navigate the dance
floor and be an awesome social dancer. No partners are necessary and couples will
not be made to rotate unless they choose to. About the Instructor: Diane Smith has
been involved with dance in some professional capacity since 1994. She loves teaching
social dances for adults and has taught Ballroom, Latin and Swing since 2000. She
teaches in the western suburbs and loves social dancing in the Chicagoland area.

Preschool 2013-2014
York Center Park District's preschool program has over 30 years of experience educating
young children. These classes are designed to develop classroom and social skills
that will prepare children for kindergarten. Children participate in a variety of
developmentally appropriate activities including stories, music, arts and crafts,
games, free play and computers. These activities coincide with special daily themes
and enhance gross and fine motor development.
2's & 3's Preschool
Your child must be 2 ½ by September 1, 2013 to be eligible to enroll. Birth certificates
required upon registration. We hope a parent can stay and join us for the first

After School Recreation
Children who attend participating schools in District 45 (York Center, Stevenson,
Westmore, and Ardmore) and District 44 (Manor Hill) will be picked up by bus and
transported back to York Center Park District each day after school. The After
School Recreation program is a fun place to make friends, play games, create fun
crafts, work as a team, and receive help with homework. Children are provided a
snack each day as well. Each week is given a theme that the activities are planned
around. The list of themes can be found in the ASR packet, which can be picked up
at the front desk in the beginning of August. There is a one-time $25 registration
fee per family.
This program follows the District 45 school schedule.

Preschool 2013-2014
York Center Park District's preschool program has over 30 years of experience educating
young children. These classes are designed to develop classroom and social skills
that will prepare children for kindergarten. Children participate in a variety of
developmentally appropriate activities including stories, music, arts and crafts,
games, free play and computers. These activities coincide with special daily themes
and enhance gross and fine motor development.
2's & 3's Preschool
Your child must be 2 ½ by September 1, 2013 to be eligible to enroll. Birth certificates
required upon registration. We hope a parent can stay and join us for the first
2 classes.

After School Recreation
Children who attend participating schools in District 45 (York Center, Stevenson,
Westmore, and Ardmore) and District 44 (Manor Hill) will be picked up by bus and
transported back to York Center Park District each day after school. The After
School Recreation program is a fun place to make friends, play games, create fun
crafts, work as a team, and receive help with homework. Children are provided a
snack each day as well. Each week is given a theme that the activities are planned
around. The list of themes can be found in the ASR packet, which can be picked up
at the front desk in the beginning of August. There is a one-time $25 registration
fee per family.
This program follows the District 45 school schedule.
