We're winning against ALEC

Daniel,

BREAKING NEWS: New Hampshire Democratic State Rep. Robert Theberge tells us that he has dropped his affiliation with ALEC -- the voter-suppression, union-busting group.

5 other Democratic legislators made similar announcements this week, bringing the total to 28 down, 49 to go!

We kicked off our national "Dems, Dump ALEC" campaign two weeks ago. Legislators like Rep. Theberge have gotten hundreds of phone calls, and our momentum has been reported on by CNN, CBS, and MSNBC.

For the first time, Rep. Theberge tells us: "I am no longer a member of ALEC, nor do I  support their views.  Please ensure that my name is no longer associated with ALEC." He added that he was "concerned about the make-up of the members where businesses and corporations had a direct voice and vote."

The weak facade of ALEC's "bipartisanship" is crashing to the ground. Along with our allies at ProgressNow, we'll keep the pressure on all ALEC Democrats.

Please join over 80,000 people telling Democratic legislators to dump ALEC today. Click here.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
