On Memorial Day...

On Memorial Day, I choose to honor our fallen soldiers.

There are 363 other days per year to argue about how they were sent into combat, why and by who. (I count Veterans' Day out for the same reasons.)

Today is a day to remember those who DID keep their word, those who DID do their duty, and those who DID lay down their lives for our country.

Being a veteran, I have a great appreciation for the risks these men and women took in serving this country, and that led to their names being honored on this day, of all days.

These are the ones who deserve our remembrance today. They certainly have mine.

All the best, if you work and vote for it,

Dan
