 Join us every Thursday this summer for some lunchtime entertainment. These interactive children's shows are a great free way to spend a summer afternoon. A variety of well-known acts will perform. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to our back patio/grass area. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase. Concession stand will open at 11:30am. Performances are from 12:00-1:00pm. Ages: All Welcome (children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult) Dates: June 19-Aug. 14 Time: 11:30am-1:00pm Petey the Clown - June 19 Petey is not just your ordinary clown. Petey the clown is a consummate entertainer who has been entertaining families for over 25 years in every imaginable situation. Petey is a student of comedy, and has performed on television, in commercials and music videos. Petey's experience from being in the spot light most of his life shows, as he dazzles the kids and their parents with puppet ventriloquism, live music performance and silly sing along songs accompanied with his little guitar, and crazy magic and comedy routines which are guaranteed to bring laughter galore!  The Blues Buster Summer Camp is an exciting way to make new friends, cool off at the pool, and learn to play new games. Create summertime memories through activities, arts and crafts, sports, special events, swimming, and field trips EVERY Friday. All summer camp staff receives first aid and CPR training. After you register you will receive a summer camp packet. Complete the forms and return it to the park district before your child's first day. Your child will not be able to participate in camp unless the packet is turned in. There is a one-time family registration fee of $25, and if you have other children in Munchkins, Blues Busters or Teen Camp the one-time family registration fee is still $25. Ages: Boppins: Entering K & 1st Grade (5-6 years old) Juniors: Entering 2nd & 3rd Grade (7-8 years old) Seniors: Entering 4th & 5th Grade (9-10 years old) Dates: Session I: June 16-July 3 (No Camp Friday, July 4) Session II: July 7-25 Session III: July 28-Aug. 15 Time: 7:30am-6:00pm 9:00am-3:00pm Click here to register online! |
