The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has proposed rules for fracking to take place in Illinois — and they are even worse than we could have imagined. Food & Water Watch and our allies have always believed that regulations are inadequate to protect our water, air and the health of communities from fracking, but the truth is that these proposed fracking rules are so bad that they shocked even us.
