Dear Daniel:
As I write this message, 989,252 people have signed the petition in favor of H.R. 4170, The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012. Even more will have signed by the time I hit send, however; as we enter the home stretch, I want to make sure we have the momentum to reach the absolutely incredible One Million signature mark!
Therefore, I'm writing today to ask you to help me push this petition over the top by sharing it with everyone you know. Family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, students, graduates - whomever you can think of - whether they personally have student loan debt or not, can make all the difference in the world.

Even if you've shared the petition before, I'm asking you to share it again! One Million signatures is more than just a symbolic milestone, it's a demonstration of just how important this issue is to the American people and it will potentially serve as an opportunity to attract even more media attention which will put the powers-that-be on notice that we mean business!
Each and every one of us has made the decision to SignOn to this initiative, however; it is critically important that we do more than just sign a petition - we have to follow through and keep the pressure on lawmakers to do right by the middle class.
Reaching, and even surpassing the goal of One Million signatures, will allow us to credibly make the case that student loan debt has reached proportions that are completely out of control and that something must be done about it. H.R. 4170 is the very piece of legislation we need passed to restore sanity to the way in which higher education is paid for in America.
