FYI, I just sent the below note to Bill Press & Norman Goldman.
I'll let you know how it turns out here on the blog.
All the best, if you work and vote for it,
Dan

Good morning, Bill and Norman.
Norm, this is the same idea I e-mailed to you just a bit ago. I'm e-mailing Bill with it because I think it would be good to have it reported morning and evening.
Working title: The Sequester Roll: Program and service cuts effected in the last 24 hours nation-wide due to the sequester.
It would also be easier to do if you have a morning and evening staffer from each show sharing the research load.
The idea would be to scan the news locally and nationally for cuts implemented by the sequester and report them in one place online with a brief morning and evening report of the top 5 cuts in your respective portions of the day, with reference back to a common full listing of cuts online.
This would give a good sense over time as to the the full effects of the sequester as it progresses.
Bill - full disclosure - I am a Democratic Precinct Committeeman in DuPage County Illinois. I have about as much say over the sequester as any other rank & file Democrat in the country, ie: none.
If the two of you choose to decline on this, I will pursue getting folk on Twitter and other blogging platforms to at least get a centralized report going online, so please let me know. I think this is worth a focused documentation.
Regards,
Dan Stafford
